Bishkek, July 29, 2026. /Kabar/. The 69th meeting of the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology, and Certification of the CIS was held in Kyrgyzstan with the participation of representatives of the Commonwealth countries, international organizations, and industry experts.

According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, the meeting discussed current issues of technical regulation, standardization, metrology, digitalization, the removal of technical barriers to mutual trade, and the development of quality infrastructure.

Following the event, the participants confirmed their commitment to expanding economic cooperation, implementing joint initiatives, and further strengthening the interstate quality infrastructure.

"Such meetings strengthen trust between countries, open up new opportunities for expanding trade and economic cooperation and developing competitive products," the statement says.
