Bishkek, July 16, 2026. /Kabar/. In January-June 2026 (compared to December of last year), consumer prices and tariffs across the republic increased by 5.5 percent.
According to statistical data, in the first half of the year, tariffs for services provided to the population increased the most.
The growth rate of goods and services:
- services provided to the population - by 8.3 percent;
- alcoholic beverages and tobacco products - by 7.2 percent;
- food products and non-alcoholic beverages - by 5.4 percent;
- non-food products - by 3.3 percent.
Price increases were observed in all regions of the country. However, the highest increase was recorded in Osh region (12.5 percent). In this region, tariffs for services provided to the population increased by 21.8 percent, alcohol and tobacco by 17.3 percent, and non-food goods by 9.8 percent.
The highest increase in prices for everyday food and non-alcoholic beverages was recorded in Issyk-Kul region (8.9 percent).
