Bishkek, Aug. 14, 2026. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, consumer prices and tariffs in January-July of this year compared to December last year increased by 6.7%, the National Statistics Committee reported.
According to the information, during this period, food products and non-alcoholic drinks rose in price by 5.9%, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products by 7.1%, non-food products by 5.1%, and tariffs for services provided to the population increased by 10.1%.
“Price increases have been recorded in all regions of the country. The largest increase was noted in the Osh region - 14.9%. Here, food products and non-alcoholic drinks rose in price by 11.9%, alcohol and tobacco products by 21.4%, non-food products by 10.6%, and tariffs for services increased by 23.8%,” the report says.
