Deputy chairman of Kyrgyz Cabinet pays working visit to Turkiye

Bishkek, Nov. 14, 2025. /Kabar/. From November 12 to 13, 2025, Deputy Chairm Edil Baisalov paid a working visit to the Republic of Turkiye.

During the visit, Baisalov met with Vice President of the Republic of Turkiye Cevdet Yilmaz. On behalf of the Kyrgyz Republic's leadership, he expressed condolences to the Turkish side in connection with the loss of life in the crash of a Turkish military transport plane on November 11, 2025.

The parties discussed in detail the current state and prospects for developing bilateral political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkiye.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached to intensify the work of the ministries and agencies of the two countries to implement the Action Plan adopted following the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, held in Bishkek in September 2025.

During his visit, Edil Baisalov also met with Turkish Health Minister Kemal Memisoglu. The two sides discussed cooperation in healthcare, medical education, and scientific research.

In addition, in Ankara, Edil Baisalov met with Mehmet Zahid Sobaci, Director General of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT).

Following his visit, the Deputy Prime Minister visited the Beştepe Millet Ormanı Park, located on the premises of the Turkish Presidential Administration.

The park will house Kyrgyz national yurts, a gift from Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov to Turkey as a sign of friendship and brotherhood between the peoples of the two countries.
