Bishkek, Sept.3, 2026 /Kabar/. Renowned Hollywood actor, martial artist, and multiple world kickboxing champion Don " the Dragon" Wilson visits Kyrgyzstan, as part of the VI World Nomad Games. In his interview to Kabar, he shares his impressions about the Games and Kyrgyzstan.
"Well, I've never been to the Nomad Games except for this event. And I didn't know what to expect, but I saw some of the show yesterday. It was very interesting. It was kind of like a fake battle, and they were on their horses and how they used the weapons, the swords and things. It was very interesting to me. So, I think this is the kind of event that you can go and enjoy the show and learn something about the history of the area."
He also recalled that he visited Kyrgyzstan for other event:
"Well, this is my second time in Kyrgyzstan, so I do remember the last time I was here. I was here for kickboxing. So, this is a very different kind of competition. And it's a great show, and I love to watch it. It's a lot of action, you know. I thought I was watching maybe a movie—they could have filmed it as a movie. But it was battles of men and horses and weapons, and it's historic and exciting."
Don Wilson’s first visit to Kyrgyzstan backs to 2002, when he personally crowned Kyrgyz kickboxer Zhanbulat Amantaev at the King of Kings Kickboxing tournament.
