Bishkek, Sept. 7, 2026 /Kabar/. A large-scale light show featuring 1,500 drones took place at the closing ceremony of the 6th World Nomad Games in Cholpon-Ata, the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The synchronized movement of the drones in the sky showcased the rich history of the Kyrgyz people, their national culture, and the traditions that have been preserved for centuries.
The artistic compositions featured images associated with the historical heritage of the Kyrgyz people, national values, and nomadic civilization. Modern technology was harmoniously combined with elements of national culture. The show, seen by thousands of spectators, became one of the highlights of the World Nomad Games closing ceremony and showcased the history and cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz people through modern technology.
The 6th World Nomad Games were held in Kyrgyzstan from Aug. 31 to Sept. 6, 2026, with the main competitions taking place in the Issyk-Kul region. More than 3,000 athletes from 109 countries participated in the Games.
