Bishkek, June 30, 2026. /Kabar/. Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation of Kyrgyzstan Gulzat Isamatova visited Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University as part of Open Cabinet media project.
The university specialists and students presented Kyrgyzstan's automated engineering platform based on artificial intelligence. Currently, the platform contains all information about the university. Future plans include creating a unified database covering all higher education institutions in the country.
Furthermore, the head of the department was shown drones and unmanned aerial vehicle prototypes being assembled at the university. They are currently being successfully used in agriculture and cartography.
Isamatova emphasized the importance of strengthening practice-oriented learning, commercializing student projects, and developing AI-based digital solutions at the university.
"The university is taking important steps to develop practice-oriented learning. The development of unmanned aerial vehicle and drone prototypes under the Uchur brand for agriculture and geodesy is one of the flagship projects linking students' knowledge with real-world production. This initiative allows students to commercialize their developments and develop startups through acceleration programs.
This approach combines theory and practice and creates a model that directly links education with the economy. Our goal is to create conditions for students to gain practical experience while still studying and earn a living through their work.
The university is also implementing solutions such as AI-powered digital agents for applicants. This, in turn, strengthens the university's competitive advantage and transforms it into a modern, innovative educational center," the minister noted.
