Bishkek, Feb. 5, 2026 /Kabar/. Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission has approved the launch of a mechanism to provide financial support for joint cooperative projects in the agro-industrial complex (AIC) using the budget of the Eurasian Economic Union. This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
It is noted that a similar form of support was previously used exclusively in the industrial sector. Expanding the mechanism to the agro-industrial complex will create additional conditions for the development of cooperation between EAEU member states.
The new measure is aimed at stimulating import substitution, developing agricultural processing, and increasing the export potential of EAEU member states, including the Kyrgyz Republic.
Financial support for cooperative projects will help strengthen production chains in the agro-industrial complex, expand interstate cooperation, and produce competitive products with high added value.
