Economy ministry checks Kyrgyz companies for sanctions risks

Bishkek, July 28, 2026 /Kabar/. About 40 companies with elevated sanctions risks have been identified in Kyrgyzstan.

According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, Minister Bakyt Sydykov held a meeting on compliance with international sanctions regimes on July 27.

Since the end of June, about 40 companies have been identified whose activities require additional review. Appropriate measures are being taken against them.

It was also reported that Shisan LLC, Rama Group LLC, and Nova Proekt LLC have ceased operations, and that the license of one crypto company has been revoked.

International partners praised Kyrgyzstan's measures to prevent the circumvention of sanctions.

Following the meeting, government agencies were instructed to complete the necessary verification activities within a week.
