Bishkek, July 15, 2025. /Kabar/. A meeting was held between Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov and Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kyrgyz Republic Nicolas Fay, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers said.
The parties confirmed the high level of Kyrgyz-French relations and recognized the important role of the French Republic as one of the leading world states and a key member of the European Union.
A wide range of issues were discussed during the meeting, including education, healthcare, investment, digitalization, environmental protection and sustainable development of mountainous regions. The growth of socio-economic development of Kyrgyzstan and mutual interest in promoting projects to increase transparency of public administration and introduce modern technologies were noted.
Edil Baisalov expressed gratitude for France's support in international organizations and for effective cooperation through joint programs.
Ambassador Nicolas Faye confirmed readiness to further strengthen bilateral ties and expand humanitarian and interstate partnership.
