Bishkek, Feb. 25, 2025. /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov held a number of bilateral meetings with heads of foreign delegations on the sidelines of the High-Level Segment of the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council (HRC) in Geneva.
According to the Cabinet of Ministers, in particular, meetings were held with Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of Kenya Musalia Mudavadi, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Ervin Ibrahimovic, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Guatemala Carlos Ramiro Martinez Alvarado, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa Ronaldo Ozzie Lamola, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland Ignazio Cassis, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Education and Sport of Liechtenstein Dominique Hasler, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Rwanda Olivier Nduhungirehe, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba Eduardo Rodriguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iceland Thorgerdur Katrín Gunnarsdóttir, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela Iván Gil Pinto, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom Lord Collins, as well as many other high-ranking representatives of UN member states. The main topic of discussions was the expansion of the geography of domestic diplomacy and the comprehensive development of bilateral relations. Information about the positive dynamics of Kyrgyzstan's development in recent years and the new prospects for building up comprehensive cooperation that are opening up in this regard was communicated to international partners.
In addition, a thorough exchange of views took place on the most important events on the international agenda.
Following the results of the series of meetings, agreements were reached on supporting the flagship initiatives of the Kyrgyz side in the Human Rights Council and in the area of the UN Mountain Agenda.
