Bishkek, Feb. 4, 2026 /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev met with Executive Director of the Emirates Investment Authority, Mohammed Hamad Al Mehair, on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit in Dubai.

According to the Cabinet of Ministers, the parties discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation and potential investment projects. Kasymaliev emphasized Kyrgyzstan’s interest in establishing cooperation with the UAE sovereign wealth fund and noted the country’s readiness to present large-scale projects across key sectors.

He said Kyrgyzstan aims to become a regional hub for production, logistics, and energy flows linking China, Central Asia, and the Middle East. Priority areas for cooperation include transport and logistics infrastructure, energy, mineral resources, telecommunications and digital infrastructure, food supply, and agribusiness.

Kasymaliev also highlighted Kyrgyzstan’s strong economic performance, noting that GDP growth reached 11 percent by the end of 2025—one of the highest rates within the Eurasian Economic Union. Improved sovereign credit ratings and increased tax and customs revenues, he said, reflect effective economic management and lower investment risks.

The Kyrgyz Cabinet head invited the Emirates Investment Authority to take part in the Gulf Cooperation Council–Central Asia Investment Forum to be held in Bishkek in April.

In turn, Al Mehair expressed interest in expanding bilateral cooperation and confirmed readiness to continue dialogue and develop concrete investment projects.
