Bishkek, Sep. 1, 2026 /Kabar/. As part of the VI World Nomad Games, an ethno-bazaar featuring national cuisine has opened in the “Nomad Universe” ethno-town in Kyrchyn gorge of Kyrgyzstan, creating a unique cultural atmosphere for visitors, the country’s Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy reported.

According to the ministry, the ethno-bazaar showcases a wide range of Kyrgyz traditional arts and crafts, household items, and contemporary folk art. The culinary zone offers a variety of national dishes, giving visitors an opportunity to experience the distinctive flavors and traditions of Kyrgyz cuisine.

The official opening ceremony of the “Nomad Universe” ethno-village will take place on September 2. The program will include a variety of cultural activities and dedicated venues where guests can learn about Kyrgyz traditions and customs, traditional crafts, and the nomadic way of life.

The ethno-village will remain open until September 6, giving local and international visitors an opportunity to explore the rich history, traditions, and cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz people. Admission is free.

“The ethno-village is one of the important cultural venues of the VI World Nomad Games,” the ministry said.
