Bishkek, Oct 24. 2025. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its regret over the inclusion of Kyrgyz legal entities in the European Union sanctions list.
According to the department, Kyrgyzstan strictly complies with its international obligations and conducts open and constructive dialogue with its partners in the European Union aimed at jointly preventing the risks associated with circumventing sanctions restrictions.
It should be noted that European Union has consistently expressed its intention to build a strategic partnership with Central Asian countries including by assisting in the socio-economic development of our country. In this context, the Kyrgyz side is also ready for equal, mutually respectful and reliable partnership with European Union and its member states. Such an approach, unlike unilateral sanctions, allows for the achievement of mutually beneficial goals.
Kyrgyzstan officially calls on the European Union to conduct an independent, internationally recognized audit to verify the factual circumstances and confirm that the restrictive measures under consideration are based on reliable and verified information.
Kyrgyz side proposes to establish a specialized joint technical working group Kyrgyzstan - European Union for regular information exchange, monitoring of transactions, and joint risk assessment.
