Bishkek, March 5, 2026 /Kabar/. The SPOT (Goods Waiting Confirmation System) will begin testing on April 1 of this year, Urmat Takirov, Director of the Kyrgyz Export Export Development and Promotion Center under the Ministry of Economy told at press conference in Kabar.

"The full launch of the system is scheduled for July 1, 2026. The main feature of the SPOT is that the consignee must be specified when arranging a delivery. The SPOT (Goods Waiting Confirmation System) will allow for the preparation of an electronic document for an upcoming delivery and the payment of a security deposit in advance. After payment is confirmed, a QR code is assigned, which is used when crossing the border. "All document forms will be available in the system," Takirov noted.

However, he added, the system will not apply to certain categories. Specifically, it will not affect individuals importing goods for personal use, diplomatic cargo, transit goods, or certain large shipments where the taxpayer is not subject to indirect taxes.

The implementation of the system is aimed at simplifying control over the movement of goods and increasing the transparency of foreign trade.
