Bishkek, Aug. 11, 2026 /Kabar/. No cases of water, soil, or coastal pollution were detected following the international UIM F1H2O competition in Issyk-Kul. The Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision reports.
The ministry noted that all Ministry of Natural Resources activities in preparation for and holding the competition, which took place from July 31 to August 2 in Bayet, Issyk-Kul, were completed on time and in full. Specialists conducted continuous environmental and technical monitoring at the competition site.
Before and after the event—on July 30 and August 3—specialists from the Department of Environmental Monitoring collected water samples from the motorboat mooring pontoon and on the race track. A chemical analysis, including for petroleum products and dissolved oxygen, revealed no deterioration in water quality or exceedance of established standards.
Furthermore, an inspection of the water area, racing boat locations, temporary garages, and other infrastructure revealed no fuel spills, soil contamination, or coastal contamination.
Following the conclusion of the competition, the organizers and representatives of the Motorboat Federation were given recommendations to ensure proper sanitary and environmental conditions at the competition site, dismantle the temporary infrastructure, and completely remove the equipment. On August 3, a final inspection revealed that the racing boats had been loaded into containers and prepared for shipment to Europe, and the competition site had been restored to a proper condition.
