Bishkek, Oct. 7, 2026 /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev held a staff meeting.
At the meeting, the Cabinet head noted that the inflow of foreign direct investment (FDI) into the Kyrgyz Republic totaled $709.9 million in the first half of this year, marking a 26.2% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
"Investments grew by 21.3% in the manufacturing industry, 7.1% in mining, 57.6% in wholesale and retail trade, 5.9% in financial intermediation and insurance, 17.7% in professional, scientific, and technical activities, and 19.5% in information and communication," Kasymaliev said.
