Issyk-Kul, Sept. 2, 2026 /Kabar/. A bone-breaking competition is being held as part of the VI World Nomad Games. Athletes from 7 countries are participating in it. The coach of Kyrgyzstan in bone-breaking Abdybek Absatar uulu reports.
According to him, representatives of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Russia, Georgia, Great Britain and Pakistan are participating in the competition.
“The first round has now passed. The full results have not been released, there will be a second round. Currently, Mongolia and Russia are leading the way. In the first round, athletes from these two countries broke 15 bones. Each of the five participants broke three bones.
Kazakhstan is still in third place. They broke about 5-6 bones. Athletes from Kyrgyzstan broke one out of 15 bones. Representatives of the remaining countries could not break a bone in the first round,” he said.
According to him, 5 athletes and 1 coach from Russia, 5 athletes from Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and Kazakhstan, 1 athlete from Great Britain, and 4 athletes from Georgia are participating in the competition.
However, representatives of Pakistan were disqualified from the competition due to technical reasons.
The final results of the competition will be known after the end of the second round.
