Bishkek, Feb. 6,2026. /Kabar/. To date, 11 thousand 388 dangerous zones have been identified in the republic.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, in 2025, 1,932 studies of dangerous natural processes were conducted, 405 special notifications were issued to local authorities regarding the identified zones, and 1,236 conclusions were issued.

In addition, maps have been created indicating the areas with a high risk of flooding, flooding and landslides by 2026.

"Taking into account these conditions, regional departments have been instructed to prepare in advance for a possible activation of dangerous natural processes, including risk assessment, strengthening early warning mechanisms for the population, and taking preventive and engineering measures in dangerous areas," the report says.
