Foreign guests from Germany, the Netherlands, the United States, and Mexico, who came to watch the VI World Nomad Games, shared their impressions of Kyrgyzstan with the Kabar agency. They praised the local culture, the hospitality of the people, the national cuisine, and the equestrian competitions.
German representative Christopher Bring said this was their first visit to Kyrgyzstan.
"Everything was new for us—the food, the culture, the sports." "The people here are very cheerful, even when they're tired. They play instruments, sing songs, and show their hospitality," he emphasized.
The foreigners particularly enjoyed the kok-boru.
"We really enjoyed everything about horses and racing," said Rodo Muralis from the Netherlands.
They were particularly impressed by how proud the nomads are of their culture and how eager they are to share it with visitors.
"Even if we didn't always understand what was going on, we were always involved and found it interesting to watch," the Dutch representative noted.
The foreigners also sampled the national dishes, particularly enjoying the kourdak and manti.
