Bishkek, July 10, 2026. /Kabar/. The "Kelechek" guarantee product, implemented by the "Guarantee Fund" OJSC, has significantly expanded the opportunities for Kyrgyzstanis to own their own housing in a short time.
According to the fund, despite the fact that the product was launched only in the second half of 2025, it has shown high demand in less than a year.
The main obstacle to obtaining a mortgage for most citizens, the issue of down payment, was solved precisely with the guarantee of this fund. As a result, 267 families acquired their own homes through the "Kelechek" program, the report says.
As of June 30 of this year, 267 guarantees were issued for a total amount of 334.3 million soms. Thanks to these guarantees, citizens were able to obtain mortgage loans from banks for more than 1 billion 352.5 million soms.
As noted, more than 60% of the guarantees issued (162 guarantees for a total of 206.6 million soms) fall precisely in the first half of 2026. This indicator proves that interest in the program is steadily growing.
