Bishkek, March 2, 2026. /Kabar/. The volume of industrial production in Chui region reached 355.8 billion soms. Azamat Osmonov, Chui oblast governor informs.
According to him, the gross domestic product of the region amounted to 205 billion soms. This is a 12% increase compared to previous years.
“Our region is actively developing. Here, the processing, food industry, as well as the production of building materials are leading. The growth of the industrial sector is especially noticeable in the Issyk-Ata region. The systematic support of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund for this work is great. Because the fund provides financial support to large projects,” he said. According to the fund, almost a third of the total investment — 335 million US dollars — was directed to Chui region. A total of 727 projects were supported, and the main part of the funding was provided over the past five years.
