Inflation amounts 7.1% in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Nov. 17, 2025. /Kabar/. In January-October of this year, the inflation rate in Kyrgyzstan was 7.1% compared to December of last year, the National Statistical Committee reported.

According to the data, the largest price increase was recorded for services provided to the population – 8.9 percent. Prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 7.4 percent, for alcohol and tobacco products by 6.7%, and for non-food products by 5.6%.

Rises in consumer prices and tariffs were observed in all regions of the country.

For example, Osh city recorded the largest increase of 9%, primarily due to a 12.1% increase in the price of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products. The largest increase in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages was recorded in the Chui region - 10.5%, for non-food products - in the Batken region (8.1%), and for services - in Bishkek, where the increase was 10.4%.
