Bishkek, Oct. 28, 2026. /Kabar/. The Government of Japan has allocated a grant of 533 million yen to Kyrgyzstan for the supply of road construction machinery. Ministry of Transport and Communications reports.
According to the information, ministry held the bilateral consultative committee meeting with the Japan International Cooperation System (JICS).
As a result, they signed a protocol covering the list of equipment to be supplied, the procurement process, and key procedures.
Under this grant, various types of machinery required for road construction will be delivered to Kyrgyzstan.
It should be noted that the exchange of notes and agreements regarding this grant were signed on August 14, 2026.
