Bishkek, March 5, 2025. /Kabar/. Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev received State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia Marko Stucin, who arrived in Bishkek to hold regular inter-MFA consultations.
According to the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, during the meeting the parties discussed the prospects for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in key areas such as trade, investment, and transport. Particular attention was paid to the development of mountain tourism, which could become an important area for strengthening ties between the two countries.
Kulubaev spoke in detail about infrastructure projects in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, inviting Slovenian companies to take part in their implementation.
He also invited the Slovenian side to take part in the International Conference “Global Mountain Dialogue for Sustainable Development”, the World Festival of Mountain Youth on Lake Issyk-Kul, as well as the Second Global Mountain Summit “Bishkek+25” in 2027.
