Bishkek, Jan. 28, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Parliament approved the draft law "On Ratification of the Loan Agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Saudi Development Fund for the "Construction of Public Schools" (Phase 2) Project".

According to the parliament, the document was signed in Bishkek on October 9, 2025.

According to the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services, the loan funds will be disbursed in US dollars for a period of 25 years.

"These funds will be used to build five new schools in Bishkek and additional educational buildings for seven schools, as well as two new schools in Chui region," the report said.

The implementation of the project is planned to begin in 2026 and end in 2029. Of this, two years will be allocated for the construction of facilities and one year for the guarantee period. The total amount of the loan is $50 million.
