Bishkek, Sept. 24, 2026 /Kabar/. On September 23, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway, Espen Barth Eide, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to the ministry, the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of Kyrgyz-Norwegian relations and expressed interest in further strengthening political dialogue, including between their respective foreign policy agencies.
Particular attention was paid to inter-regional cooperation; the parties noted the value and practical significance of the "Central Asia – Northern Europe" dialogue format, including the joint promotion of projects in areas such as the green economy, sustainable development, combating climate change, and transport connectivity.
