Bishkek, Jan. 20, 2026 /Kabar/. Aalam folklore ensemble and the Ademi dance ensemble of the R. Abdykadyrov Osh Regional Philharmonic will represent Kyrgyzstan at the 11th Ramayana International Music and Dance Festival, which will be held in India from January 13 to 24, 2026. According to the Philharmonic , the festival, organized at the initiative of the Indian government, brings together artistic groups from various countries. Kyrgyz artists perform on the international stage as cultural ambassadors, introducing foreign audiences to the rich historical and spiritual heritage of the Kyrgyz people.

The festival program will feature national costumes, ancient musical instruments, and vibrant stage performances based on the great epic poem "Manas." The performances of Kyrgyz ensembles generated keen interest among the audience and were highly praised by the international community.

It is noted that the participation of Kyrgyz philharmonic ensembles in the Ramayana Festival has become a well-deserved tradition. For example, in October 2025, the Molmol Folk Orchestra of the Jalal-Abad Regional Philharmonic Society successfully performed at the IX International Festival of Folk Instruments in India, proudly representing the country on this global cultural stage.
