Bishkek, Oct. 16, 2026. /Kabar/. Political consultations were held in Bishkek yesterday, attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Meder Abakirov and Thomas Mühlmann, Director General of a department at the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs.
According to the ministry, the discussions focused on expanding cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Austria in areas such as trade, economics, and investment.
Furthermore, the parties explored opportunities for implementing joint projects in sectors including hydropower, tourism, healthcare, education, transport, the mining industry, and digitalization.
They also exchanged views on strengthening political dialogue, developing cooperation in consular and migration matters, and interacting within the framework of international organizations.
