Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev held talks with the Vice President of the UAE and Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit.
Adylbek Kasymaliev expressed gratitude for the invitation to participate in the summit and the traditional hospitality extended. He also conveyed warm greetings and best wishes on behalf of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Zhaparov, to the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Vice President of the UAE, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Kasymaliev noted that cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the United Arab Emirates has been steadily developing in recent years, and that the UAE Embassy began operating in Kyrgyzstan in 2025.
"The United Arab Emirates is one of Kyrgyzstan's key trading partners among Middle Eastern countries.
In 2025, trade between the two countries amounted to approximately $150 million. These figures certainly please us. To further strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries, the 3rd meeting of the Kyrgyz-UAE Intergovernmental Commission is planned in Bishkek this year," he said. Furthermore, Adylbek Kasymaliev requested consideration of introducing a visa-free regime in the UAE for Kyrgyz citizens, which would facilitate travel to the UAE and promote the development of inter-ethnic relations and business ties between the two countries.
The Kyrgyz Cabinet head also invited the Emirati side to actively participate in the Gulf Cooperation Council-Central Asia Investment Forum, which will be held in Bishkek in April 2026.
