Bishkek, March 10, 2026 /Kabar/. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Daniyar Amangeldiev held a working meeting on the current inflation situation in the country.
According to the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of relevant ministries and agencies, and representatives of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan attended.
During the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank Azat Kozubekov gave a detailed presentation on the current monetary policy. The report analyzed the external and internal factors influencing the consumer price index and outlined inflation expectations for the near future. It was noted that maintaining price stability requires close coordination of fiscal and monetary measures. After hearing the report and the opinions of the heads of departments, Daniyar Amangeldiyev emphasized that, given the high rates of economic growth, ensuring citizens' purchasing power is an absolute priority for the Cabinet of Ministers.
"Dynamic economic development must be accompanied by strict control over inflation. We are obliged to minimize the impact of external shocks on the domestic market, especially for socially important goods," the First Deputy Chairman noted.
Following the discussion, Daniyar Amangeldiev instructed the relevant government agencies to promptly develop measures to ensure price stability, paying particular attention to food security and saturating the domestic market with domestically produced goods.
In conclusion, Daniyar Amangeldiev emphasized the personal responsibility of the heads of departments for the timely implementation of measures to ensure macroeconomic stability.
