Kyrgyz Cabinet works on anti-inflation program, curb price increases

Bishkek, Aug 4, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers works on special program to stabilize inflation in Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration told Kabar podcast.

According to him, comprehensive work is currently underway to reduce inflation. In particular, a reform of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service is planned for the near future. This step is aimed at limiting unjustified price increases.

"We are developing appropriate mechanisms to curb price increases. The main goal is to keep inflation under control and reduce economic pressure on the population," he said. It was also noted that the government intends to stabilize prices by increasing competition in the market.
