Kyrgyz citizens receive pension savings payments from South Korea

Bishkek, Nov. 4, 2025. /Kabar/. Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who officially worked in the Republic of Korea and paid pension contributions are now receiving lump sum payments of their savings upon their return home.

According to the Social Fund, there are currently 139 recipients of payments from the National Pension Service of the Republic of Korea (NPS).

96 citizens have already received payments;

43 are awaiting a decision.

The average lump sum payment was $3,642.

This measure is aimed at protecting the labor rights of Kyrgyz citizens who worked abroad and ensuring the transparent return of pension savings accumulated during their official employment in South Korea.
