Bishkek, July 29, 2026. /Kabar/. During a study visit to Turkiye, a Kyrgyz delegation studied international experience in the field of "green" economy, climate finance, and carbon emissions management.

According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyz Republic, from July 21 to 23, participants learned about Turkiye's practices in developing a green taxonomy, attracting green investments, monitoring greenhouse gas emissions (MRV), and implementing an emissions trading system (ETS).

Particular attention was paid to sustainable financing, implementing climate projects, decarbonizing industry, and developing a carbon market.

During the visit, the Kyrgyz delegation also visited the Votorantim Cimentos cement plant in Ankara, where they learned about modern environmental standards, energy efficiency technologies, and emission reduction solutions.

It is noted that the lessons learned will be used in developing Kyrgyzstan's green taxonomy, improving sustainable financing mechanisms, and implementing green projects in the country.
