Bishkek, March 11, 2026 /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov held bilateral meetings with Vice President of Guatemala Karin Herrera and Prime Minister of the Congo Judith Suminwa Tuluka as part of his participation in the meeting of the UN Commission on Women in New York.
According to Cabinet of Ministers, during the talks, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, including strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade and economic ties, and interaction within international organizations.
Edil Baisalov noted Kyrgyzstan's interest in deepening partnerships with Central American and African countries and expressed readiness to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
The parties emphasized the importance of developing contacts between the countries, including exchanging views on pressing international issues.
In addition, during his visit to New York, Edil Baisalov participated in the high-level meeting "Violence against Women and Girls" and other side events at the UN Commission on Women, and held a meeting for foreign ambassadors on behalf of the Kyrgyz leadership.
