Bishkek, Oct. 31, 2025 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev received German Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Monika Lenhard.
Jeenbek Kulubaev congratulated Monika Lenhard on her appointment to a new position and confirmed the readiness to further develop Kyrgyz-German cooperation in the political, trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres through the joint efforts of the parties. During the meeting, special attention was paid to the further implementation of the agreements reached on the results of official visits of the highest level, as well as to the development of mutual cooperation in the field of transport, tourism and ecology.
The subject of sanctions restrictions was also discussed. The minister noted that Kyrgyzstan is fully fulfilling its international obligations and conducting an open and constructive dialogue with its partners in the European Union in order to jointly prevent risks related to the possibility of circumventing sanctions restrictions.
In addition, Jeenbek Kulubaev told about the current domestic political situation in the country and paid special attention to the preparations for the Jogorku Kenesh elections and the participation of international observers.
In her turn, Monika Lenhard expressed her readiness to further strengthen and develop bilateral cooperation, including making an active contribution within the framework of the "Central Asia-Germany" dialogue platform.
