Kyrgyz FM met with members of British royal family

Bishkek, Feb. 26, 2026. /Kabar/. The day before, in London, Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev participated in a joint meeting of the heads of the Foreign Affairs Departments of the Central Asian states with members of the British royal family, Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs.

In a conversation with the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Edward, Kulubaev confirmed Kyrgyzstan's openness and readiness to further expand cooperation with the United Kingdom in political, trade, economic and investment spheres.

He paid special attention to cultural and humanitarian cooperation, especially in the fields of education, English language learning, climate and tourism.

He also provided information about the upcoming XI World Nomad Games, noting that this event is a unique international initiative of the country aimed at preserving and developing cultural diversity, which is considered an important element of the stable and peaceful coexistence of the peoples of the world.

"The World Nomad Games contribute to preserving and passing on to future generations the rich heritage of nomadic civilizations, promoting their contribution to the development of humanity, and to strengthening intercultural dialogue," Kulubaev said.
