Bishkek, March 10, 2025. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to France Sadyk Sher-Niyaz met with Deputy Director General of MEDEF International Geraldine Lembley.
The diplomatic mission reported that during the meeting, issues of intensifying trade and economic cooperation and increasing trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and France were discussed, and the parties also discussed the possibility of organizing another business forum in Bishkek at the end of May this year with the participation of representatives of French business.
The ambassador proposed to time the holding of the next Kyrgyz-French business forum in Bishkek to coincide with the visit of the Minister of Foreign Trade of France to Kyrgyzstan.
In turn, Lembley informed about the interest of French entrepreneurs in doing business in the Central Asian region, noted the priority sectors of France for the implementation of joint projects. Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on joint intensification of cooperation in the trade and economic sphere between the countries and further preparation for the upcoming business forum, where MEDEF International will be the main organizer from the French side.
