Bishkek, Aug. 26, 2026. /Kabar/. The National Olympic Committee(NOC) of Kyrgyz Republic held an extraordinary general assembly on August 25, the NOC reports.
According to the NOC, two members of the Executive Committee of the NOC of Kyrgyz Republic were elected due to vacancies. Sports federations nominated four candidates for the vacant positions.
Following the voting, Eduard Kubatov and Medetkhan Kunai were elected as members of the Executive Committee.
In accordance with the agenda, the assembly also reviewed applications for new members representing the national federations of judo, badminton, squash, and boxing.
Assembly members were briefed on the specialized committees formed by the executive committee, the updated structure of the NOC, the digitalization of documents, and the development of the organization's official website.
