Bishkek, Aug 3, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan to produce products from waste. Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision informs.

According to the information, currently, the country is intensifying work on licensing and supporting enterprises engaged in waste processing. These measures are aimed at developing a circular economy, introducing extended producer responsibility, and creating a digital register of recyclers.

As part of the pre-licensing supervision, the ministry visited number of enterprises that recycle paper, plastic, and textile waste.

These enterprises produce packaging paper and corrugated cardboard from waste paper, thermal felt and carpets from textile waste, and household goods such as plastic pipes and brushes from plastic waste.

The ministry called on waste recyclers to license their activities in a timely manner, noting that control and state support in this area will continue.
