Bishkek, March 26, 2025. /Kabar /. President Sadyr Zhaparov signed the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On ratification of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on ensuring access to water and energy facilities, signed on March 13, 2025 in Bishkek."
The law was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh on March 19, 2025.
This Agreement provides for ensuring unimpeded access to economic and energy facilities located on the territory of the states for the purpose of their operation.
At the same time, joint operation of the head dam with three gates and the head water intake structure of the Ak-Tatyr/Machoi canal is proposed.
