Kyrgyz president relieves ambassador to Austria

Bishkek, April 23, 2025. /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov signed a Decree according to which Tolendy Makeyev was relieved of his post and Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Austrian Republic, the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic concurrently with residence in the city of Vienna, as well as from the post of Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the OSCE and other international organizations in the city of Vienna.

55-years-old Nurzhan Shaildabekova began her career in 1991 as a history teacher. Later, Shaildabekova moved to work in government bodies, where she held senior positions in the Jogorku Kenesh, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Germany and the Prosecutor General's Office.

She is fluent in Kyrgyz, Russian, German and English.
