In the near future, 500 million soms will be allocated from the Presidential Stabilization Fund for the development of Balykchy's urban infrastructure, Kamchybek Tashiev, Chairman of the State Committee for National Security told during his working visit to Issyk-Kul region.
According to Tashiev, the allocated funds will be used to improve the city's road, utility, and social infrastructure, as well as to improve public spaces.
"Balykchy is the gateway to Issyk-Kul, a tourist center that should become a model of cleanliness, order, and comfort. Therefore, supporting its development is one of our priorities," he emphasized.
New equipment worth 100 million soms was also donated to the city's public utilities, including street sweepers, watering machines, garbage trucks, and specialized vehicles.
