Bishkek, Sept. 3, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov signed a decree appointing Maksat Kubatovich Asanaliev Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, the presidential press service reported.
According to the document, Asanaliev is appointed to the position in accordance with paragraph 2 of Part 1 of Article 70 and Article 71 of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Yesterday, on September 2, Kyrgyz Parliament approved the candidacy of Maksat Asanaliev.
