Bishkek, Dec. 9, 2025. /Kabar/. The working meeting with KOICA delegation and the CUPIA agency was held at the State Customs Service headquarters to discuss current issues and development prospects in the field of customs.
According to the State Customs Service, the purpose of this event was to develop a project to modernize and strengthen the institutional capacity of Kyrgyz customs.
Further meetings with the delegation are expected to discuss the project's strategic directions, aimed at assessing current procedures and IT systems, modernizing infrastructure, and improving the effectiveness of interactions with businesses.
This collaboration will result in the development of master plan for modernizing customs services, encompassing the development of customs technologies, trade facilitation, and the implementation of modern international control practices.
