Bishkek, March 6, 2026 /Kabar/. Education Minister Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva met with representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) at the Ministry of Education, the ministry's press service reported.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister Nadira Dzhusupbekova, an ADB mission led by a social sector specialist, Mamatkalil Razaev, a representative of the Office for Human and Social Development, and Baktygul Omurzakova, a bank specialist.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the overall progress of the Sector Development Project: School Education Reform and assessed the readiness of the ADB-financed components.
Particular attention was paid to six key areas, the implementation of which is entrusted to the Ministry of Education.
Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva noted that the current year is considered a pre-profile preparation stage, which will allow for the implementation of profile education as early as next year. According to her, the core curriculum should become more flexible and ensure academic freedom for schools.
