Bishkek, Feb. 4, 2026. /Kabar/. On February 3, First Deputy head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Daniar Amangeldiev met via videoconference with the European Union Special Envoy for Sanctions, David O'Sullivan, the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
The parties confirmed their mutual interest in continuing a constructive and substantive dialogue on sanctions issues, as well as financial and economic cooperation.
To ensure the sustainability and predictability of cooperation, an agreement was reached to maintain regular consultations aimed at mitigating sanctions risks.
On February 26, 2026, a visit by the European Union Special Envoy for Sanctions, David O’Sullivan, to the Kyrgyz Republic is planned, during which discussions on the above-mentioned issues are expected to continue.
