Bishkek, May 23, 2025. / Kabar /. Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov held a working meeting with Vice President of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Hong Sokhwa.
According to the Economy Ministry, the parties noted the high level of partnership and productivity of joint work, especially in the implementation of grant projects in key areas - digitalization, public administration, agriculture and healthcare.
The minister informed about the priority initiatives of the Cabinet of Ministers aimed at ensuring sustainable socio-economic development of the country. Particular attention was paid to the National Development Strategy until 2030, which defines the strategic directions of state policy.
During the meeting, promising areas for further cooperation were discussed, including the possibility of expanding KOICA's current programs in the context of implementing the strategy's priorities. In conclusion, the KOICA vice president expressed readiness to deepen cooperation and confirmed the agency's commitment to supporting the Kyrgyz Republic in achieving its stated development goals.
