Bishkek, June 25, 2025. /Kabar/. As part of the official visit of President Sadyr Zhaparov to Malaysia, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Cabinet of Ministers and the Government of Malaysia represented by the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia.
The document was signed by Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovation Baktiyar Orozov and is aimed at strengthening and developing bilateral cooperation in higher education.
The main areas of cooperation include:
implementation of academic exchange programs;
exchange of experience and information on higher education;
training of teaching and research personnel;
promoting academic mobility, mutual recognition of qualifications and credit transfer.
The parties also agreed to encourage various forms of interaction between recognized universities of the two countries: exchange of teachers, experts and students, joint research and teaching activities, as well as the implementation of educational programs and events. The signing of the memorandum was an important step towards strengthening international educational cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Malaysia.
