Bishkek, Dec. 4, 2025. /Kabar/. As part of the state visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, on December 4, he signed documents aimed at expanding cooperation in the areas of economics, seaport use, education, healthcare, culture, agriculture, tourism, energy, justice, and legal issues.
According to the presidential administration, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov and Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif signed Joint Statement on strengthening comprehensive cooperation in the interests of both countries.
A number of bilateral documents were also signed:
- Agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on the transfer of sentenced persons;
- Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on cooperation in the field of culture;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on cooperation in tourism;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on cooperation in agriculture;
- Memorandum of Understanding on expanding bilateral trade between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan;
- Memorandum of Understanding on mutual cooperation in the use of Pakistani ports for regional communications between the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Commerce of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Energy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on cooperation in the field of energy;
- Memorandum of Understanding on Legal Cooperation between the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Law and Justice of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on Cooperation in Mining and Geosciences;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulation, and Coordination of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on Cooperation in Surgical Instruments;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Prime Minister's Youth Program of Pakistan;
- Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of Electronic Data Exchange between the State Customs Service under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Pakistan Customs Service;
- Agreement on the establishment of sister city relations between Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, and Islamabad, Islamic Republic of Pakistan;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Kazy Dikambaev Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Foreign Service Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Kazy Dikambaev Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the National University of Modern Languages of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
